Welcome to Admissions
Thank you for your interest in ANC!
Here at ANC, we believe deeply in the teachings for the New Church, and we honor the values those teaching set forth in word and deed.
The most critical issue when applying for admission to ANC is for families to understand the religious orientation of our school. Because we believe deeply in the teachings for the New Church, we try to organize our school in such a way that they are honored in word and deed. We teach them as the truth in our classes and expect those who attend to listen and question affirmatively.
Our multi-stepped admissions process is designed to honestly determine the likelihood of success for each applicant based on spiritual affirmativeness, academic capability, and family participation. Our acceptance of applicants is focused simultaneously on our best estimation of their likelihood for success at ANC and their likelihood for positive contributions to the life and mission of the school.
At ANC, we believe in and teach the importance of religious freedom. We do not want to force New Church beliefs on anyone, but we also want to have the freedom to teach our students what we believe to be true without interference. It is important that parents sending students to our school understand and accept this. For this reason, we ask all potential parents and guardians to attend New Church Orientation as part of our admissions process. In this way we hope to assure families that we are not in any way misleading them about the attitudes, beliefs, customs and expectations of the school.
ANC does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and grant programs, and athletic or other school-administered programs.
We welcome you to contact the Admissions Office with any questions or concerns you may have regarding the admissions process and acceptance to the ANC Secondary Schools.
