When the school year is over, life at ANC doesn't slow down. Each summer, our campus teems with a myriad of extracurricular programs that range from academic to athletic to pure fun.
For the summer athletics program, see Athletics Camps.
This summer, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders had an opportunity to mount a musical production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Jr., in the ANC Performing Arts Camp. Students honed their singing, dancing, and acting skills by rehearsing Monday through Friday, June 21th through July 1.
Students finishing 8th and 9th grades are invited to attend ANC Summer Camp, July 9 - 16. Students gather from across the United States and Canada to attend this week-long adventure that provides a perfect taste of what life at ANC is like.
Older students are welcome to attend Tools 4 Life, which gives campers a week of courses in life skills and college preparation in the third week of July. Attendees participate in a range of activities and off-campus excursions designed to help them gain interview skills, prepare a resumé, understand the college application process, and consider their career options.
Every summer is slightly different. Some summers, our campus hosts conferences or academic courses. Other summers are quieter, with only our signature summer programs taking place. Whatever the schedule, summer at ANC is a buzz of activitiy.
